At Hot Dawgs in Paradise, we are proud of our Canine Massage Therapy Certification from the Florida Academy of Pet Grooming and adhere to their philosophy that canine massage therapy has earned a rightful place in the total health care and well being of canines. Canine Massage Therapy is not and never will be a substitute for veterinary medical science, but it is in fact a pleasurable and beneficial complement. Haven't we all at some time experienced a sore neck or back and felt the relief and relaxation that results from simply rubbing the sore area? From the French word masser, "to stroke", massage by definition is the "manipulation of the soft tissue of the body through stroking, rubbing, kneading or tapping in order to increase circulation, improve muscle tone, and to relax the patient." To enhance your dawg's spa experience, many of these massage techniques are incorporated into our routine spa bathing process and our Hot Dawgs absolutely love it! Please note that our canine massage is simply for pleasure and relaxation and is never used as treatment or therapy for an injury.
